Retaining Walls
We deal a number of companies that manufacture retaining wall block. Blocks come in an assortment of colors and styles; they can be mixed with different color combinations to contrast your pavers, they dont have to always match. I recently did an estimate on a wall that the homeowner did himself, the wall was fine but the blocks were falling apart. You get what you pay for in this field. Most companies keep making the same color and types so we can always reorder and add on at a later date.
One more thing about retaining walls is the type of wall. Regular walls tend to hold back dirt, whether its for a flower bed or a driveway. Another type is a freestanding wall. These walls can be installed around a patio or walkway and are used for sitting in fact I nicknamed them sitting walls. Sitting walls can actually save you money using them for a chair instead of buying new patio furniture. Just suppose you want to have a small cookout in December just use the sitting walls instead of bringing out the patio furniture, also if done correctly your guest will often rather sit on them than in a patio chair. These walls look the same on both sides as opposed to the regular walls that only have one good side.
